The Great Wolf Lodge

As a family we went to an indoor water park that just opened here in Washington Thursday to Friday. Its also a hotel. The only way to use the waterpark is if you stay overnight. We only live about an hour away from it, so it was pretty close for us to travel to. Its an outdoors theme, hence the name The Great Wolf Lodge. What a blast we had! All of the grandkids loved it! They have a wave pool, waterslides, a big play pool, and lots of other things to get yourself wet. There were rarely any lines to wait for the slides, which was great... lines are no fun with kids. Hudson the first day was a little scared of most things, but the second day he loved it. Adam took him into the pool to get him used to the water then we took into the wave pool. He loved it! I couldn't believe this little baby out with all the big kids playing around. Everyone kept commenting on how cute he was out there. I wish we could have got it on film to show everyone the kind of fun that little boy had. He definetly wore himself out because he took the longest nap after swimming. It was so fun being together as a family and sharing this wonderful memory. If your curious more about this place or want to see more pictures you should visit their website at http://www.greatwolflodge.com/ Its a very impressive place.

Here is my sis in law with Cohen who is 8 months. He didn't wear the life jacket, we just thought it was funny and cute!

Fun with Cousins

This is Sawyer (my sis Jenell's boy), Hudson, and Cohen (my brother Ryan's boy)

Cousins are tons of fun especially when your close in age. Sawyer and Cohen are just 6 wks older than Hudson. Hudson is just a few steps behind them though. His two cousins are crawling better, but Hudson has more teeth than them...he's got his 2 front teeth coming in, which is so cute. Hudson is crawling but its not very fast yet. Sawyer and Cohen go everywhere and Hudson wants to follow but he can't move as fast as those boys. Its so much having them come over and play. We got them all in their diapers to sit for the picture. For some reason babies love having their clothes off. They smile a lot more without clothes.

Love You Adam!

I'm not one to brag...well not too much at least, but I needed to let you know what an amazing man I am married to. Adam has worked and continues to work really hard providing for our family. He travels everday 80 miles roundtrip, and then comes home and works on homework. He has been retakng classes and taking new classes online to better our chances of getting into a Physical Therapy program. He has been doing this for past several months, which is very exhausting for him. Lately I have been hard on him because I want his attention when he gets home. I want him to spend time with Hudson and me, but a lot of the time he can't because he is working on school or just relaxing for a bit. Its sometimes exhausting for me to be with Hudson all day. He requires a lot of my attention, which I think first babies do. So when Adam gets home I want him to take the baby and give me time to myself for a brake, but that doesn't always happen which makes me frusterated and angry at him. After many arugments and talking things out I finally got it. Adam has a lot more on his plate than I do. He worries more about how is going to provide for us in the present and future. He is doing all these extra classes and going to work everyday for us. I think I was being very selfish and only thinking about myself. I finally had that "ah ha" moment and now understand what Adam has been going through. I love him so much for all of his hard work and devotion to his family. I truly appreciate all that he has been doing for us. Adam I love you and sorry for making things extra stressful for you. You are a wonderful father and Husband. Your hard work will pay off soon. Hang in there, as I will also. Love You!!!!

Girls Night Out!

We started a new birthday tradition to go out for dinner and shopping for the birthdays of the girls in my family. We celebrated my sister Andrea's 28th birthday last night. Its so great getting together as sisters and sister in-laws and our mom and going out without husbands and kids. Four of us have nursing babies so they get to tag along. We went out shopping and then dinner. We then did some more shopping after dinner also (we all love shopping). I think its important to get out and be with other girls. We can have more fun without men. We can talk about them and laugh about how all men are the same, especially when you start having kids, men are all the same. For example: When I ask Adam to hold the baby or he is holding the baby his excuse to hand off Hudson is, I have to go to the bathroom. Its quite funny because all of my sisters and sister in laws husbands say the same thing. So its fun to talk about how men think the same. They all have the same excuse. We love them though! I love Adam so much that I even made an effort to bring him home my leftovers, but when I was putting Hudson into the car seat I set the food on top of the car...yes I forgot about it and we drove off. We got a call from my sister in law Rachel who was laughing hysterically. She told us that my burrito and rice had just blown off our car and hit her van. I turned around and saw Adam's dinner in the middle of the intersection. All I could say was "My Burrito" it was a yummy burrito. Too funny! The night was great with some great news. My sister in law Becky who is married to my brother Brandon are expecting their 6th child in November. They are hoping for a girl, they have 4 boys and 1 girl. Next month we have another birthday which means another Girls Night Out!

Back to Utah

We just got home from Utah and I am so glad to be home. I have been traveling for over 2 weeks now and I am so exhausted. I just want to sleep in my own bed and not have anywhere to go. Its definetly more tiring traveling with a baby. This trip Adam went with us. Adam's cousin was getting married in Logan so we flew down there to be there for him, and see Adam's mom (Grandma Carol). It was so fun to be able to go and visit all of our friends and family that we left 6 months ago. We didn't get to see everyone because time was limited. Sorry to those we didn't get to see. The wedding was very nice in Logan but extremely cold. Adam and I got to go to the sealing even though I was a little nervous to leave Hudson. I am quite attached to the little guy, but I left him for an hour. In that hour he had a blow out, that hasn't happened for a long time. I knew something like that would happen. It was funny because we heard Hudson crying when we came down the stairs from the Sealing. Immediatly Adam and I put on our shoes and ran out to him. When I saw him he was in a different outfit. I knew something happened. I felt bad for the girls who were watching him. They had to clean him up and try to make him happy again. They were so sweet with him. Oh well he lived, and so did I. After the wedding we headed down to Provo to stay with Meagan and Lizzy. Lizzy is Hudson's future wife. I have arranged the marriage. They are only 6 days apart. I wanted to thank Meagan for her and her families hospitality. Adam and I had so much fun staying with you. Thank you for putting together a little party for us. It was so great to see everyone we worked with. I love all those ortho girls. I feel truly blessed to have all those girls in my life. Meagan and Lizzy, I love you and thank you again...we miss you already!! I had a picture of us all but it looked too blury when I went to put it on the computer, so anyone who got a good picture can you send it to me please. We had a great trip, it went too fast. We miss Utah and everyone there. Oh and of course we miss Adam's mom who flew from Alabama to see us. We love you!
Here we are at the Reception in Salt Lake. His cousin Sam had a reception in Salt Lake and Logan.

Hudson is going to miss Grandma...she spoiled him. I think he really liked all the attention and love she gave him. We love you Grandma Carol!!
Meagan, her little girl Lizzy and me and Hudson at The Cheesecake Factory Restaurant... I known I told you I am addicted to it. I think I am eating there next week also in Portland. Yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
