Happy 30th Jenell!

Today is my oldest sister's big birthday. Holy Cow! She is 30...but still she looks like she's in her early 20s.Jenell has been such a wonderful sister and an amazing example to me. She is one of the strongest people I know. She has overcome some very difficult trials in her life and has continued to have faith and hope which is sometimes hard to maintain. I truly look to her for strength and I respect her and her opinions. I have always had a good relationship with her, but I feel like we have become so much closer since I have become a mother and moved back to Washington. I love talking to her because we can truly talk about anything and we really understand one another. Jenell is a mother of 4 very active and but adorable kids. She's been married for 9 years to Craig. He is one lucky man to have her as his wife and I am so lucky to have her as my sister. Happy Birthday Jenell. Love you!!!!!

Back so soon!

I hate that vacations go so darn fast. It feels like we just left and now we are home and back to the boring life of work and not enough play. We had such a great time in Alabama and Florida. The weather was so warm and the atmosphere was wonderful. We headed down to Florida Wednesday afternoon. The house that we stayed was big and beautiful, so relaxing. I think we only played on the beach one day because we were so spoiled with such a nice swimming pool. The ocean was so warm, it was actually warmer than the pool. The pool was like 88 so the ocean had to be almost 90 degrees. Hudson really liked the ocean until he got a taste of it . The water was so salty. The other days we spent shopping or just hanging out together in the house or by the pool. I know I keep talking about the pool, but when you see the pictures you will understand. I am so glad that Adam and I both had our parents there, its awesome that our parents get along so great. We were raised very similar so our parents have a lot in common. Hudson is really going to miss Grandma and Grandpa Harries, lets just say he is a very spoiled boy. Thank you so much Bob and Carol for such a wonderful vacation. You are such wonderful in laws and such loving grandparents. My parents had a great time and they said that they can't wait for next year, me either. I had such a fabulous time. Time went too fast as it usually does. Let me just say that if you are ever planning on going to Florida make sure you stop in Destin. I think its a town that many Westeners don't know about. It literally is such an awesome place and the best beach. If your wondering why I look so white in all of the pictures its because I didn't get a tan. I put sunblock on most of the time. Adam looks all nice and bronsed and then theres me pasty white. Oh well thats why Self tanning was invented...right!

Leavin on a jet plane...I will be back again

Well we are packing up and leaving early, I mean early (getting up at 4am) to Alabama tomorrow. Our plane leaves at 6am. Its going to be a very tiring day. Poor Hudson is going to be exhausted and I am going to be even more exhausted because I am flying alone with him. Adam and I are both on different airlines. Unfortunatly we had to do it this way to get cheaper flights. His parents bought his ticket a few days before my parents bought mine, so when we tried to get me on the same flight it jumped up to $900 which was outragious. We leave at the same time and arive just minutes apart so that was the best thing we could do without paying that ridiculous price. We are meeting up with my parents to spend time in Florida. Its about a 6 hour drive from Adams hometown of Decatur to Destin Florida. My parents flew out today to Florida this morning and we will catch up with them on Wednesday in Destin. Destin is where Adam and I spent out Honeymoon. So I am excited to go back! If you don't know where Destin is its on the panhandle on the Gulf of Mexico. I am looking so forward to relaxing and sunbathing on the beautiful white beach. I really want to get tan, but then the other part of me says lotion up with the sunblock. I have fair skin and I don't want to be all wrinkly and have terrible skin when I am older... but will see!
I will update you all in a week.
