Happy 1st Birthday Hudson!

YEAH ITS MY BIRTHDAY!
I can't believe its been a year! Hudson has been one of my greatest blessings. Everyday I am so thankful to have such a healthy and happy boy. He truly brings so much joy and excitment to Adam and I. His party is tomorrow, so it should be lots of fun.

Feeling much better!

I am doing so much better! I am almost back to normal...well the pain I mean as for my nice perky chest not so much, its depleting! That's ok, that is why push-up bras were invented, right! I am still sad that I am not feeding Hudson. I really enjoyed being the one to comfort him and I really miss being able to get him back to sleep at 6am by feeding him, now he is awake and hungry for breakfast. I am trying to feed him some food before he goes to sleep at night but it just doesn't matter. Its really going to stink when we change times and its really dark at 6am. Maybe just maybe he will start sleeping in and be used to this new change, I can only hope!

Oh Weaning!

Ok so I went cold turkey on this weaning thing, and we are on day 3. Its going pretty good except that I am in a lot of pain and discomfort. I went cold turkey because I thought it would be so much easier and faster. It is, but you do pay for it! Hudson is doing pretty good. He is a bit whiney but I just have to distract him and take him outside. Its funny to look at myself in the mirror because seriously I looks like I am a DOUBLE D...but I know that in few days I will more like a deflated balloon, oh well! So I am hoping and praying by tomorrow I am doing better.

Hudson's new favorite toy!

Turn up your volume!

Hudson had so much fun mowing with Adam. I wish I could have got his face better because he had the cutest smile. When we took him off the lawn mower he would run after Adam and want to get back on. It was really cute!

The Update

I just wanted to update people where the Harries Family is at in our plan for the future. I have been asked a lot recently so I thought I would let you know if you don't already know. Adam was unfortunately not accepted to any Physical Therapy Schools for this year so we must wait and apply again for next year. The upside to it all is we have been able to be with my family longer. We are also fortunate enough to be living with my parents which allows us to save all the money we can for when we do go away to school next fall (Yes we will be getting in)!!! Adam is working for a Physical Therapy Clinic who has offered to help him get in to school. They have connections to schools around the U.S, so it has been such a blessing for him to work there. Its also great because its owned by members of the church. He really enjoys going to work and being around such great people. Adam and I both have faith that we will blessed with what we need at the right time. We know that the Lords timing is always different than ours. We have so many other blessings in our life that we really are grateful for. This year has gone by quickly, so I am sure the next will also. I am just trying to enjoy my time here with my family before we have to pack up and say good-bye.

Hiking Siouxon Creek

Yesterday Adam, Hudson and I went on a beautiful hike with my parents. The scenery was just breathtaking. The path followed a creek that had many waterfalls and swimming holes. The water was so clear and very inviting. Adam and my dad wished they would have brought their suits. I felt it and it was quite cold. It felt nice to put your hands in and cool off, but not to jump in. The hike we thought was going to be short. It was only 7 miles, but seriously it felt like 14 miles. For some reason when you hike miles feel like eternity. My mom and I barely made it back. We all were quite exhausted afterwards. Hudson did awesome! He loved his backpack and loved being outdoors. It was so cute because he loved to pick up the rocks and throw them in the water. He could have spent all afternoon doing that. I need to get in better shape if I want to continue hiking. Lets just say this was a whole lot better then hiking Mt Timpanogoes in Utah. That hike did me in for days. I could not walk or breath without a body part hurting. I am excited for more hikes with my family.

Our baby is walking

I wasn't going to post a video of him walking yet until he was walking non stop. He still crawls a bit, but he is walking a lot. He just takes off on his own. I bet by next week he will have forgotten how to crawl. He is so cute when he walks.
