Pumpkin Patch

Can I first say that is was almost 90 degrees out when we were at this pumpkin patch. That is not normal. Last year we were in sweaters and drinking hot chocolate like you are supposed to instead we drank water to keep hydrated while walking around. California weather is missing out on fall. It just doesn't feel like fall here. Hudson had fun trying to pick up the big pumpkins and watching the pig races. Austin just enjoyed being outside and loved tring to eat the hay. Did I mention that Austin has his two bottom teeth and is trying to crawl already. He is just 6 months old, I can't believe it!

Family update

These past few weeks me and the kids were able to go see my family in Washington and Arizona. My parents also came to visit us here in California which was lots of fun. Of course we went to Disneyland again and had lots of fun. Hudson is enjoying it much more now that he has gone a few times. He gets a little nervous on the Pirates ride, but he loves loves the Dumbo ride and also the Carousel. Since being in California my boys have been growing up so fast. Austin is getting so big he is eating yummy baby food and also growing back his hair, Yay! Hudson is talking more and has really taken on the terrible two's, Yay! Adam is still busy with school, but enjoying it at the same time...I think. I just got called to be the Achievment days leader in our ward so that will be fun. I have been lazy at blogging but I really hope to start doing better. Enjoy some new pictures!

If your wondering why Hudson is in his diaper its because he fell into this pond. Thats right head first. He was trying to follow my dad and didn't look where he was going. Luckliy my mom and I were close by to pull him out. It was scary, but Hudson was ok. This little kid is accident prone! In the picture above he is telling us what happenend.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

These past few weeks we have been very busy. Adam's mom was here for a week so we got to spend lots of time with her. His mom is so much to fun to be around. She is a wonderful Grandma and the best mother in law! Carol we miss you already...especially Hudson. While she was here we went to the Huntington Beach for Labor Day, Disneyland for Hudson's birthday (we bought annual Disney passes, fun huh!!!) and threw a doggy birthday party for him also. He loves dogs! Hudson was very spoiled with some awesome presents, it looked like Christmas.

Summertime in California

This last month has really flown by. Adam starts school on Monday...finally! We have been keeping ourselves quite busy though. We have been hanging out by the pool and doing a little sight seeing while we've been here. My parents were here to help us move in and we also had Adam's dad visit. His mom comes Saturday, Yay!! So its been nice having visitors. We have also met some really great friends that we have been hanging out with almost everyday. Hopefully they are not sick of us, we just have so much fun together. I have really enjoyed California so far which surprises me, I thought that I wouldn't like it, but I love the warm weather and the location of where we are living. It's going to be weird to be alone now. Adam and I have been inseparable this last month, so to start having him gone everyday for most of the day and then time when he has to study is going to be rough. I will miss his help with the kids ALOT!!! I just keep telling myself its only for 3 years...yikes that sounds like forever! I am going to try to update more for our families who are away from us. We miss everyone soooooo much and love you all!

Dr. Harries

I am so proud of Adam for his determination to get into Physical Therapy School. He has worked so hard and has been very patient for this dream of his. This last weekend the school had there White Coat Ceremony. It's to recognize all the students in becoming doctors of their profession. Then the teachers put the white coats on each student. It was such a wonderful moment to see Adam up on stage receiving his coat. What a long wait he has had for this moment. I know the next 3 years are going to be very tough, but what a great achievement he will have in the end. So Congrats Adam, your family is so proud of you. We love you!
