Chocoholic

Today Hudson found a candy bar in my room while I was cleaning and putting away laundry. When I looked over at him I thought it was so cute that he was sucking on the wrapper, but little did I know that somehow this little chocoholic bit a corner of the wrapper off and got into the candy bar. He had chocolate dripping down the corner of his mouth and sticky brown fingers. When I tried to take it away he let me know he was not done yet. He screamed for the candy. I let him have a bit more then took it away. I did do the right thing though and gave him some milk (aka boobie).

Girls Beach Gettaway!

This is our Second Annual Girls beach trip with all of the Girls on my mom side of the family. We go down to Seaside to spend the weekend at my parents beach house. Only nursing babies are allowed to attend. The other children get a weekend with their Dads. It's a fun time to go down and spend time with cousins and aunts who we don't get to see as much as we would like. Today I am still recovering from the late night chats and all of the laughter from Pictionary. We got a little carried away with the game and started drawing pictures from our past. Andrea has us all laughing with her embarrassing drawings of our childhood, and if anyone knows me I have a lot of embarrassing moments...I will get her back!!! To show their apprection to their daughters our moms and grandma gaves us all gifts the one evening. It was very thoughtful of them to do that. We all loved them! This beach trip allows us all to reconnect and reminisce about the past. What a fun weekend we had together.

Heres the gang!

Remember when...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. I think it will be pretty fun to see the responses.

TO MY DARLING WIFE...

First off, I chose this picture because it shows that you will always be there for our children!

Michelle, I want to express my deep love that I have for you. You are the light of my world. I can't believe it has been 2 years since I took your hand in mine and we promised ourselves to each other. I wish I could say that was the best day of my life but I can't. Because everyday that I wake up next to you becomes the best day of my life. You have given me so much in these past years that I can't explain in words how grateful I am that the Lord placed you here just for me. You gave me a handsome son that I love with all of my heart. I love experiencing being a parent with you and learning from you. You have given me the opportunity to be a Father and example to my son! You are a PERFECT mother to him and Hudson loves you and admires you so much. Every time I see you together I get excited of the thought of having more children with you so that I may watch you continue to be the PERFECT parent to our children.
I have never been a morning person, but you have made mornings worth it when I can wake up and see a slight smile on your face and feeling that I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world. I love and cherish you deeply. I am grateful for your faith that you have in me and in our future. My sole purpose in life is to provide and support for my wife and family. So, that I may give you the desires of your heart! Michelle, I have so many thoughts and emotions that I cannot attempt to express in words. I want you to know that I love you and my world revolves around you! You are the light of my world and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for all of us!!!! LOVE YOU!!!

Happy Anniversary to Us

Today is Adam and my 2nd Anniversary. I know everyone always says that is feels like they've been married longer than they have, but its true. Especially now that we have Hudson. It feels like 5 years. Probably because I have been so happy and when your happy time flys by. Adam has been such a wonderful husband. I truly feel blessed to be married to such a great man. We have had such a great marriage so far and I hope that pattern continues. He has made me feel so special by the little things he does. If its just a random text message that says I love you it makes me smile. He always can make me laugh through his witty sense of humor. He's made me a mother which is something I always to be. He has made me a stronger person by pushing me to do things. He has made me a better wife by allowing me to be me. Being married is such a wonderful blessing and I feel so lucky to be married to him and know that I have eternity with him. I love him so much!

Happy 30th Jenell!

Today is my oldest sister's big birthday. Holy Cow! She is 30...but still she looks like she's in her early 20s.Jenell has been such a wonderful sister and an amazing example to me. She is one of the strongest people I know. She has overcome some very difficult trials in her life and has continued to have faith and hope which is sometimes hard to maintain. I truly look to her for strength and I respect her and her opinions. I have always had a good relationship with her, but I feel like we have become so much closer since I have become a mother and moved back to Washington. I love talking to her because we can truly talk about anything and we really understand one another. Jenell is a mother of 4 very active and but adorable kids. She's been married for 9 years to Craig. He is one lucky man to have her as his wife and I am so lucky to have her as my sister. Happy Birthday Jenell. Love you!!!!!

Back so soon!

I hate that vacations go so darn fast. It feels like we just left and now we are home and back to the boring life of work and not enough play. We had such a great time in Alabama and Florida. The weather was so warm and the atmosphere was wonderful. We headed down to Florida Wednesday afternoon. The house that we stayed was big and beautiful, so relaxing. I think we only played on the beach one day because we were so spoiled with such a nice swimming pool. The ocean was so warm, it was actually warmer than the pool. The pool was like 88 so the ocean had to be almost 90 degrees. Hudson really liked the ocean until he got a taste of it . The water was so salty. The other days we spent shopping or just hanging out together in the house or by the pool. I know I keep talking about the pool, but when you see the pictures you will understand. I am so glad that Adam and I both had our parents there, its awesome that our parents get along so great. We were raised very similar so our parents have a lot in common. Hudson is really going to miss Grandma and Grandpa Harries, lets just say he is a very spoiled boy. Thank you so much Bob and Carol for such a wonderful vacation. You are such wonderful in laws and such loving grandparents. My parents had a great time and they said that they can't wait for next year, me either. I had such a fabulous time. Time went too fast as it usually does. Let me just say that if you are ever planning on going to Florida make sure you stop in Destin. I think its a town that many Westeners don't know about. It literally is such an awesome place and the best beach. If your wondering why I look so white in all of the pictures its because I didn't get a tan. I put sunblock on most of the time. Adam looks all nice and bronsed and then theres me pasty white. Oh well thats why Self tanning was invented...right!
