Home sweet home!

My hubby is home from what it felt like weeks, but really it was only 6 days. His trip went really well. He met with 3 schools and feels really good about how things went when he met with them. While he was there he received an email that he got an interview at the PT school in California he applied to. FINALLY good news for us. We had to buy his ticket right away since his interview is next Wednesday. We are very excited, but we are still hoping for some more interviews. California would be fun to live since the school is about 45 min from everything fun! Its just that it would be very expensive to live there. We should be hearing from other schools in the next few weeks. I am just so happy that things are going so well for Adam and our family right now. He seems less stressed about our future. Everyone is right, Adam does deserve this blessing he has worked so hard for it.

Adam left this morning for Alabama to renew his drivers license (long story about that) anyway, and to take 3 tours and visit with some people at potential Physical Therapy Schools in Alabama. We have really been trying hard to do everything we can to get into a program this year. We already visited University of Washington in Seattle on Thursday. The visit went well, but we are doubtful about being admitted there because of the competitiveness this year. We also have a visit/tour set up in Arizona at the end of the month. All of us will be going to Mesa...yeah warm weather!!! Adam has been working so hard to get into a school for over 3 years now.We have just been praying that he will be accepted somewhere. I have never known someone who is so passionate about what they want to be. He is dedicated to doing everything in his power to get accepted. Finally a personal connection to one of the schools we applied. Everywhere kept telling us, oh you just need to know someone. Well an old friend from where he grew up his attending PT school in Mobile, Alabama. Adams mom was inspired to call this friends mom and get in touch with her and her son. Good news for us we find out that she is a PT recruiter and knows lots of people who are on the admissions boards for some of these schools. His friend also knows the head of admissions in Mobile. They both said they will talk to them and put in a great word. Adam will also meet with him while he is down there and hopefully be introduced to some IMPORTANT PEOPLE! This could be the answer to our prayers. We have been greatly blessed and I know that the Lord will continue to bless us if we continue to have faith. I will keep you posted.
