Busy September

Septmeber is gone and just flew by. We were so fortunate to have family and friends come and stay with us. Adams parents flew in for Hudson's birthday. It was so great to have them here and spend time with there only grandchild. We did get to surprise them with our announcement that they were going to have grandbaby #2. They were so excited for us!! After they left my brother Aaron, Meagan and Lizzy flew in from Utah. Meagan and I have been friends for a few years and were lucky enough to be pregnant together. We shared a lot of fun memories when we lived in Utah. It was fun to have her here and show her the Northwest. I wished I had felt better while everyone was here. Being sick was not in my plans, but I think I managed pretty well and enjoyed having everyone come see us.

WE ARE PREGNANT!

Ok so finally I can make the announcement that we are expecting baby number 2 in April. If it is a surprise to you then join the club because I was as surprised as you. Lets just say Adam was so surprised (shocked more like it) it took him till the next day to believe me. He thought I would tell him that I was kidding around. I even showed him the test to prove it, but he still was in denial. We are both excited now and really looking forward to this baby. As far as the sickness goes, yes I am sick all day again, but this time it is better. I am able to tolerate it better by keeping my stomach full. When I let it go just slightly empty....I spiral down hill quickly, so I just eat about every 2 hours. I didn't really get to enjoy Hudson's party because I felt so yucky. My family is so awesome though because they literally took care of everything. My mother in law was with Hudson most of the party watching him and I really appreciated that. I felt pretty good today. We went on a hike up Mt. Hood. It was about 3.5 miles and I did great. There was no way that I could of hiked with the Hudsons pregnancy. The fresh air really helps. Well I will keep you all updated on this new adventure (blessing) of ours.

Happy 1st Birthday Hudson!

YEAH ITS MY BIRTHDAY!
I can't believe its been a year! Hudson has been one of my greatest blessings. Everyday I am so thankful to have such a healthy and happy boy. He truly brings so much joy and excitment to Adam and I. His party is tomorrow, so it should be lots of fun.

Feeling much better!

I am doing so much better! I am almost back to normal...well the pain I mean as for my nice perky chest not so much, its depleting! That's ok, that is why push-up bras were invented, right! I am still sad that I am not feeding Hudson. I really enjoyed being the one to comfort him and I really miss being able to get him back to sleep at 6am by feeding him, now he is awake and hungry for breakfast. I am trying to feed him some food before he goes to sleep at night but it just doesn't matter. Its really going to stink when we change times and its really dark at 6am. Maybe just maybe he will start sleeping in and be used to this new change, I can only hope!

Oh Weaning!

Ok so I went cold turkey on this weaning thing, and we are on day 3. Its going pretty good except that I am in a lot of pain and discomfort. I went cold turkey because I thought it would be so much easier and faster. It is, but you do pay for it! Hudson is doing pretty good. He is a bit whiney but I just have to distract him and take him outside. Its funny to look at myself in the mirror because seriously I looks like I am a DOUBLE D...but I know that in few days I will more like a deflated balloon, oh well! So I am hoping and praying by tomorrow I am doing better.
