Trick or Treat

Hudson and Austin made the cutest fireman and Cowboy. Austin was so cute caring his bag and going up and getting his candy. He loved it!!! Unfortunately Hudson was in a bad mood so he wouldn't smile or get out of the wagon the entire time while we went up to the houses, but we still got him candy (he is such a stubborn little kid). They actually racked in too much candy from Saturdays trunk or treat to trick or treat. I am trying to figure out what to do with most of their candy. Seriously we have too much sugar in that bowl. Any ideas?? All in all it was a fun Halloween with my two little cuties.

October Fun

What a fun month we had with my Adams parents. It was a bummer Adam didn't get to be with us too much because of his busy school schedule, but we managed to stay busy.
We went to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, we also went to the Pumpkin Patch (well actually it was a pumpkin parking lot, California doesn't have pumpkin patches that most of us are used to). Anyway it was still lots of fun. The boys had fun with all the jumpy toys and petting zoo. My little boys just loved their Grandma and Grandpa Harries.

Its about time...right!

Well I won't bore you too much on whats been happening in the last 4 months, but a quick run down:
Adam has completed his first year of PT School! So proud of him. He worked really hard.
Austin is talking. Its so cute to hear him repeat what we say. My favorite word so far it thank you.
Hudson still has no interest in potty training. He will be 3 in 2 weeks, so hopefully we can get him there.
The kids and I all got to go to Washington for 3 1/2 weeks. It was great to see my sister get remarried and then attend my 10 year HS reunion. Can't believe I am that old already.
We are all enjoying living in California, well I am more than Adam cuz he is stuck at school most of the time, but we love our Disneyland pass and the wonderful weather which allows for lots of trips to the pool...ahhhh I love the weather here.

Austin 1st Birthday

Its already been year since having my little Austin. What a wonderful blessing he has been in our family. Austin has been such a good baby. He truly is so easy and has the cutest personality that just makes me smile. I always have people stopping me wanting to get another look at him and his blonde hair that stands up. They can't resist the blue eyes either. Austin is so special and I am so grateful to have him and watch him grow. We just all love him so much, Happy Birthday Austin!!!
Heres a sneak peak back

Easter

We had a wonderful easter weekend. We took the kids to a Easter egg hunt that was lots of fun. Hudson didn't get too many eggs cause he was too busy looking around at all the kids and the crazy parents telling their kids to hurry grab all the eggs. We helped him out a little though. I ended up dumping the candy because it was yucky cheap candy that most kids don't like. On Easter we also did an egg hunt around the pool area with our friends and their kids. Austin was so cute digging into his basket and eating all the chocolate. This kid is smart opening the wrapper and getting the candy inside he must have been watching his big brother. Hudson is a candy fanatic.

I took the boy's pictures the other day in their cute Sunday Easter clothes. They are so darn cute. They are looking so old.

Unexpected trip home

This past week I traveled home for my Grandma Meads Funeral. My Grandmother was the last living grandparent for me. Its weird to think that she is gone. She was really the only grandparent I got to know and spend time with as an adult. I had some fun memories with my Grandma Mead and will cherish those times with her. I truly loved her and she will be greatly missed. I am so grateful to know that we are eternal families and next year she will have the opportunity to accept this wonderful blessing when we do her Temple work.
While I was home I got to spend almost 2 weeks with my family. It was a lot of fun to be home and have Hudson and Austin play with their cousins. Really only 1/3 of the cousins still live there since most of the cousins moved away to Arizona and Idaho, but we had fun with the kids who still live there. Hudson got to do his favorite thing with Grandpa and that is to ride on the ol Lawn mower. Austin enjoyed watching the rooster come up to the back window and stare in at all of us. This rooster would stay there almost all day, I think he thought he was a dog. Just to let those of you know that don't already know my parents live on 5 acres, which they have 10 chickens and 2 roosters. Hudson gets to go out and collect the eggs and feed them.
I am also grateful that I was able to spend some time with my oldest sister Jenell. This past year has been tough for her and her family. I didn't get to really spend that much time with her when I lived there. She was quite busy with Avarie who was battling Luekemia. Which you should know she is doing awesome. Its been 7 months since her bone marrow transplant and so far she is looking good. What a relief for my sister. Being home this last week I got to spend more time with her and take her to my favorite Indian restaurant...mmm yummy! Jenell is great to talk to. I really enjoyed are little conversations we had(some real good ones). What a wonderful example she is. Love ya sis!

Best Christmas Gift

I finally put together there tent and tunnel we got the boys for Chrismas the other day, which was a hit! They are so cute chasing each other through. It takes up a lot of room, but it gives them something to do. I looked at both of their knees and they have bruises up and down from crawling around. They don't care though, they are just having fun.

Christmas 09

We had such a great Christmas in Alabama. It was much cooler than sunny California. The warm weather was confusing to me here, it just didn't feel like Christmas so it was great to be in a nice cold climate. It was also great to be with Adam's family. We enjoyed spending time watching movies and eating yummy food. Hudson and Austin were so cute on Christmas. Austin didn't care much about the gifts just the paper. Hudson liked all of his gifts and Austin's gifts as well. Luckily Austin didn't care. Grandpa Harries had an electric train from when he was a boy that Hudson just loved. He kept asking for the Choo Choo.
Christmas morning I played a big mean joke on Adam. I wrapped up my friend Tiffany's pregnancy test and gave it to Adam. His face went from a friendly smile as he opened it to a mean nasty face He kept saying "your joking right". I couldn't stop laughing but also trying to act serious about it. I finally told him yes its a joke after I thought maybe I might ruin his Christmas. I only played this mean joke on him because Tiffany's Husband told me to do it and also Adam kept telling me that if I were to get pregnant I would have to move back in with my parents in Washington. It was pretty funny. He did get Rose Bowl tickets after though. He was happy about that. We had a great trip and wonderful Christmas.
