I am always sad when Christmas is over. I love the spirit of Christmas and feeling you have the entire month. It was so much more fun this year because Hudson is older. He was so cute Christmas morning. Usually it takes him a bit wake up, but when he laid his brown eyes on all the gifts around the tree he lit up with excitement. Then he saw his basketball hoop ready to be played with. He went immediately over to the hoop and started shooting. He's going to be some basketball player someday. This boy can SHOOT!. We finally pulled him away from the hoop and let him open some gifts. He would squeal at each gift. My dad was constantly opening the toys from the plastic so he could have the toy to play with. Hudson was not bored all day. He had plenty of toys to keep hin happy. Adam spoiled me this year with some wonderful gifts and I guess I did the same for him. I said I wasn't going to buy it, but I did because he kept saying that was all he wanted. Adam opened a Playstaion 3!Lets just say he was a happy little boy! I hope I don't regret it. The evening ended with my family coming over fora yummy dinner and a snowball fight. Up at our house we got over 18 inches of snow. It was more snow than the grand kids could imagine. It was so cute to see the little ones trying to trek through it. Its such a blessing to have a wonderful family to share Christmas with. It was also a wonderful blessing for our family because my sweet niece Avarie got to come home for Christmas. Although she was home for only a night, it was great for my sister and brother in law to be home all as a family. It has been 2 months since they all have been together. Avarie is starting to respond better and is now able to come back home Tuesday. We are praying that she will be able to stay home for awhile. It has been a long road for her and will continue to be rough, but I know that through our faith she will get better. Avarie with love you! Besides all the annoying snow that fell and left us with cabin fever it was a fabulous Christmas. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
Do you see the flick of the wrist...that's skill!
Avarie opening a barbie tent at HOME, yeah!!!

How much more snow?
Ok so the snow is out of control. We have over 17 inches of snow and in some spots even more. As long as I have lived in the Northwest I have never seen this much snow, besides the mountains. I can't even play in it because it takes too much work to even walk in it, plus it would be up to Hudson's neck. I just keep asking myself...how much more snow can we get?
The other day we heard a loud boom and looked outside and a 60 foot tree fell over. We also lost power that night for a few hours. Oh this storm needs to end.
The funny thing about this picture is that my Dad and Adam cleared their cars the day before this picture, so this is all from one night!
The snow was up to my knees in some spots and even higher in other places.

Arctic Blast
We are experiencing a Winter Storm in the Northwest, causing 13 inches of snow to fall at our house. The snow is still coming down, so by morning we will have up to 16inches of snow or more most likely. Luckily for me my Christmas shopping is done. Adam has not been to work since we came home from Alabama on Monday. Being snowed in it feels more like Christmas, we are baking yummy cookies, playing games and watching movies. Hudson is so cute outside. He just stands there in the snow and doesn't know what to do. He won't keep his mittens on real well so his hands get cold fast, but he doesn't care! This will be the second year that we have a White Christmas. We never get White Christmas', but yeah for us we will!
The snow is so deep that in some spots its up to Hudson's waist.
We tried to get a sled, but every store was out, so we settled for a wheel barrow to push Hudson around.

Family pictures
We just got back from our trip to Alabama. It was such a nice and relaxing time to spend with Adams family. While we were there we had some pictures taken of just the three of us...well you kinda can see the fourth! We forgot our camera so all the pictures we took while we were there are these family photos. We did get a nice Nikon D40 camera for Christmas from Adams parents. Now we can take better picutres, I am so excited about that!

Its a......
BOY!!!!!!! I was right. I had the feeling it was a boy, but Adam was for sure it was a girl. We are both very excited to have another little man in our family. He looked just like Hudson in all of the ultrasound pictures, he had the same chin and nose and ohhhh so cute. Everything looked good from the ultrasound, so that is a blessing! Our little boy is also active, mostly in the evening. I definitely missed the feeling of a baby moving around inside, its nice to feel it again.
