Christmas wrap up...

I am always sad when Christmas is over. I love the spirit of Christmas and feeling you have the entire month. It was so much more fun this year because Hudson is older. He was so cute Christmas morning. Usually it takes him a bit wake up, but when he laid his brown eyes on all the gifts around the tree he lit up with excitement. Then he saw his basketball hoop ready to be played with. He went immediately over to the hoop and started shooting. He's going to be some basketball player someday. This boy can SHOOT!. We finally pulled him away from the hoop and let him open some gifts. He would squeal at each gift. My dad was constantly opening the toys from the plastic so he could have the toy to play with. Hudson was not bored all day. He had plenty of toys to keep hin happy. Adam spoiled me this year with some wonderful gifts and I guess I did the same for him. I said I wasn't going to buy it, but I did because he kept saying that was all he wanted. Adam opened a Playstaion 3!Lets just say he was a happy little boy! I hope I don't regret it. The evening ended with my family coming over fora yummy dinner and a snowball fight. Up at our house we got over 18 inches of snow. It was more snow than the grand kids could imagine. It was so cute to see the little ones trying to trek through it. Its such a blessing to have a wonderful family to share Christmas with. It was also a wonderful blessing for our family because my sweet niece Avarie got to come home for Christmas. Although she was home for only a night, it was great for my sister and brother in law to be home all as a family. It has been 2 months since they all have been together. Avarie is starting to respond better and is now able to come back home Tuesday. We are praying that she will be able to stay home for awhile. It has been a long road for her and will continue to be rough, but I know that through our faith she will get better. Avarie with love you! Besides all the annoying snow that fell and left us with cabin fever it was a fabulous Christmas. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

Do you see the flick of the wrist...that's skill!

That flick of the wrist is awesome. He is definitely has natural talent. He must have gotten that from our side, haha. Thank you for the wonderful comments about Avarie, it was wonderful for her to be home. We're leaving the hospital here in about an hour. We hope this is a long stay at home too.
